It chips away the stump and surface roots, to a depth of 10-12 inches below grade. After the stump is ground out, there is a pile of mulch created by the stump grinder. Our basic stump grinding price includes grinding the stump, and raking the grindings (mulch) back into a pile over the hole.<\/p>\n<p>We can haul off the stump grindings at an additional charge.
